Catalogue of Costa Rica’s Technical Cooperation of Children and Adolescent’s Programs

The Catalogue documents policy and project initiatives focused on the compliance of children’s rights for encouraging child-focused technical cooperation among countries. Based on already existing and demonstrated initiatives, it promotes South-South and triangular exchange of successful experiences, which were chosen on basis of efficiency, relevance, pertinence, sustainability, and viability criteria. The catalogue includes case studies from 15 Costa Rican public institutions, for a total of 49 initiatives in health, education, justice and child protection, among others and is published jointly by UNICEF and Costa Rica’s Ministerio de Planificación Nacional y Política Económica (Mideplan). UNICEF Costa Rica will continue the support and promotion of cooperation missions and is coordinating with Costa Rican institutions for the constant update of this document.
