Launch ceremony of the United Nations QIAO Plan on Climate Change and Nature Conservation

The QIAO Plan on Climate Change and Nature Conservation is calling for expressions of interests now. The QIAO Plan was jointly launched by the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC) and the Beijing Qiaonyu Foundation in January 2018. It is the first major non-State pledge of contribution following the entry-into-force of the Paris Agreement.

The QIAO Plan will make available an initial amount of RMB 85 million (approximately $13.5 million) between 2018 and 2023 to support projects in developing countries on climate change and nature conservation.
